We support the Residents’ Committee & Salvokop Development Forum by facilitating meetings about current and future development in Salvokop. We also avail our facilities to them.

We engage with Freedom Park and Transnet Housing in regard to decisions taken about the development of the area (the 2nd phase of Freedom Park Trust started in October 2005).

We encourage participation by the local community in Community Centre Activities, e.g. community concerts, parents committees and jumble sales.

Two church communities are using our premises, The Word Wide Pentecostal Mission (WWPM) and the Christ Redeemer Church. We are working with them to establish a Community Church. The past two years we have held joint Christmas Concerts.

The Kopanong Adult Group meet to discuss issues, e.g. Aids, Parental Care.

The Youth Development Forum is being established by local young adults—we support them in their ventures.

We provide limited secretarial services to the community, e.g. the typing of minutes of meetings.
